SOCIAL IMPACT Advisor

Nivisha works with organizations and social entrepreneurs to build impactful programs. She has ten years of experience working with organizations dedicated to inclusive and equitable education for children with disabilities. She has worked with organizations, non-profits and Foundations in Ghana, India and the USA.

In 2019, Nivisha founded Impact2Rise, a social enterprise with a mission to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of social impact organizations and programs through the impact first approach. Through her work at impact2rise, she provides social program design and development, impact assessment, and impact strategy. She is dedicated to helping organizations build more robust and comprehensive intervention programs in their respective communities. Her work has led to the development of new and improved programs, hence increasing the organization's reach and impact.

Currently, Nivisha is an active member of the Consortium for Inclusive Education (CIE) in Gujarat, India.  She has worked with CIE on the digital transformation of a blind school, developed content and trained mainstream school teachers on individualized educational plans (IEPs) and classroom accommodations for children with disabilities. She serves as an expert on assistive technology for CIE.

Nivisha has her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She currently lives with her spouse in Toronto, Canada. Her passion for the environment has led her to find ways to live an environmentally sustainable lifestyle and inspires others to do the same.
